Spices of Life
Stock up on spices. One of the keys to cooking low fat and not getting bored is to spice up your food. Once you have finished your recipe, taste it so you can adjust the spices to please your palate.

Let Meat Sit Before Carving It
It's important to let a roast—beef, pork, lamb or poultry—sit a little while before carving. This allows the juices to retreat back into the meat. If you carve a roast too soon, much of its goodness will spill out onto the carving board.
